3. Web Hosting & Server Log Files

We use an external web hosting service provider for the technical provision and hosting of our website.

Note on data storage: The server location and storage of your personal data takes place on servers outside of Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the provider, which guarantees compliance with German and European data protection standards.

Each time our website is accessed, connection data from your browser is automatically collected and stored in server log files. This includes:

• Browser type, version and operating system
• Referrer URL (previously visited page)
• IP address and hostname of the accessing computer
• Time of the server request

The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation, analysis, and security of our portal pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. CDN & Security (Cloudflare)

We use the security and optimization service "Cloudflare" from Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

All data traffic between your browser and our website is routed through Cloudflare's global server network. Connection data is analyzed to defend against malicious attacks (e.g. DDoS attacks) and to accelerate the loading time of the website globally.

Use is based on our legitimate interest in a secure, fast, and resilient delivery of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For the transfer of data to third countries, Cloudflare relies on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Contact Form & Email Contact

If you send us inquiries via our online contact form or directly by email, we process the data you enter (name, contact details, project descriptions, photos) exclusively to answer the inquiry and for any follow-up questions.

For the proper receipt and dispatch of our business emails, we use the secure server services of our email service provider on a data processing agreement (DPA) basis.

The processing of this data takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request is related to the implementation of pre-contractual measures (e.g. preparing a cost estimate for a property clearance) or contract performance. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the fast and structured processing of customer inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data remains with us until the purpose no longer applies or statutory retention periods expire.
